Highlife, Reggae, Afrobeat, Hip Hop - Sunlife Musik
Ekow Alabi comes from Ghana and is already making music since he was 5 years old. Highlife is the typical style of music of Ghana, that Ekow has developed in his songs into "Sunlife" (a mix of reggae and highlife).
The late seventies, he moved to Berlin where he picked up European musical influences and incorporated them into his songs. In the summer of 2009 his second solo album "Going for Gold" was released.
2011 Ekow goes on tour with Ebo Taylor and Afrobeat Academy.
